Getting Back To It
Coming off probably the toughest week in my life, I am excited and looking forward to becoming mentally stronger today. For those who did not know, I lost my grandmother unexpectedly last Tuesday. Going through the grieving process, I realized how I need to turn it around and become better for myself. Today is the day I start living the legacy of my grandmother.
So sorry to hear, I'm glad you are taking on the grieving process head on. It's never easy to lose a loved one and it's great to hear that you are becoming stronger and want to carry on her memory. Continue to better yourself everyday and make her proud of you by doing great things.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much TJ! It really means a lot
DeleteHey RJ, I heard about your Gamma, and I'm so sorry for your loss, I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. Keep being the strongest version of yourself and I know you'll keep making her proud! #techwell
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Chloe! just gotta keep being strong :)
DeleteI just lost my grandpa three weeks ago, and I can absolutely agree that it is the toughest week. I know for, me, it took a lot of crying and mourning to eventfully get back on my feet and start living my life. My grandpa used to text me "good morning have a great day" every single morning since he started to text which was about four years ago, and he NEVER missed a day. For me, that text message meant everything. I started texting my brother "good morning have a great day" every morning ever since my grandpa passed, and it really helps me knowing that I'm living his legacy. Keep your head up and know that she's watching over you and is SO proud of the man that you are. Also, don't look for signs. They will come when you least expect them my friend. I am so proud of you for coming this far, and I totally understand what you are feeling so do not be afraid to reach out.
ReplyDeleteWow, your grandpa was such a sweet person! I am so glad you had such a special relationship with your grandpa. Feel free to reach out to me if you need someone to talk to.
DeleteI'm sorry to hear about your Grandmother. It's even worse when it happens unexpectedly. It's always hard to lose someone close to you and it can be difficult to accept what has happened and why. It's great that you are ready to better yourself after this unfortunate event. Stay strong and know that your Grandmother is always with you!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Hannah! I will do my best to do so
DeleteI am so sorry for your loss. Losing someone you are close to, especially unexpectantly, is never easy. However, I am glad to hear that you are making the most out of the situation and continuing her legacy. I'm sure she would be so proud of you and your accomplishments so far while working hard in school! I truly think the best way we can honor our passed loved ones is to continue living out best lives while knowing that they are watching over us.
