The Struggle of Diving

To most people in our major, diving is easy or at least do able. For me, it is a struggle to rotate my body in the air. Even when I do extra practice during common hour and Monday night, still not much has improved. Hopefully I can find the self-confidence that I can shoot this lanky body of mine perfectly in the water. Wish me luck y'all!

  1. Even though your improvement is very little right now, keep on working and the results you desire will eventually come. The internet is an amazing thing sometimes and I'm sure there are videos out there to give you simple tips on diving. I would recommend trying diving from the poolside first and when you are successful with that then work up to the diving board. Good luck with your dives!

  2. Do not worry with practice makes perfect. Upon viewing your diving in class you have definitely improved. You can not expect to hop right into diving and be great at it. Luckily we have a certain grading scale and our points should not be taken down to much. Keep on practicing I have faith that you will achieve a good dive.

  3. You would be surprised how difficult diving is for most. Just because we are in the major does not mean we are all great at everything. Especially with aquatics. There were a lot of people in my class that did not even do the dive for the grade. So don't sell yourself short. I'm sure you did good.
